Hi - newbie here.
I've had the original Yubikey for 4+ yrs. now & only using it for Lastpass.
It stays permently docked in one usb port & only gets taken out for occaisional use on my 2
spare computers.
So I really don't know much about Yubikey at all, other than the fact that it 'just works' &
that it was fairly easy to setup because of the instructions that were emailed to me.
I CAN follow instructions, barely.
So now I've just started using an android phone (kitkat 4.4) that I
really know little about.
Can I use the NEO on my phone that has a thick neoprene aftermarket case installed?

It all depends on the phone's NFC antenna. It works on my HTC One M8 with a relatively thick rubber case, but some phones, even with thin cases, won't communicate with the NEO. My recommendation would be to buy it, try it, and return it if it doesn't work with your case. (Amazon, very simple returns for the first 30 days after purchase)
