For those trying to setup their own openid server, the following may be interesting:

It speaks about a Ruby based OpenID server.

The JanRain example OpenID server we are using isn't really complete for production use, so we are open to using something better.

The OpenID server in question is masqurade, running on Ruby on Rails. It uses the “two-factor legacy username + password + yubikey” approach. The server software is very easy to set up.
