I am trying to reset the OpenPGP applet on my YubiKey Neo, using the instructions here https://developers.yubico.com/ykneo-ope ... pplet.html, because I have ran out of pin retries and can not longer use the pgp features of it. But, whenever I run this line of code:
gpg-connect-agent --hex
scd apdu 00 20 00 81 08 40 40 40 40 40 40 40 40

it gives me this error:
ERR 65547 Bad passphrase <Unspecified source>

Am I supposed to supply a passphrase to that command as well. I can not find any documentation regarding it.
Thanks.

The instruction that gives you an error is used to send a wrong PIN in order to lock it, but yours is already locked.

What you want are the two other instructions "scd apdu 00 e6 00 00" and "scd apdu 00 44 00 00".

That worked.
Thanks alot for the help. I was assuming that I had to follow all of the instructions on the page. But, once you said that, it made sense to just do that part.

Okay... So I was receiving the same error as the previous poster:

ERR 65547 Bad passphrase <Unspecified source>

I tried the recommended course of action:

> scd apdu 00 e6 00 00
ERR 65547 Bad passphrase <Unspecified source>
> scd apdu 00 44 00 00
ERR 65547 Bad passphrase <Unspecified source>

So what is to be done when continuing to get an ERR 65547 when attempting to reset the GPG Applet?

Thanks for any help! (oh, and there's currently an open ticket with Yubico)
