I ordered a Yubikey Standard because it was the flagship product.
On the Yubikey standard web page (see attached image, bottom right) it shows that I can use the key with PayPal and Google.

I received my key today...
After watching the video on How to use the Yubikey on PayPal, the video says I need a VIP key?
Does this mean that I cannot use my Standard key for PayPal and Google?

I would like some clarification, I am now unsure where I can use my Standard key.

Regards

I have discovered that I cannot use my key with PayPal.

I managed to set up 2 factor authentication with one of my Gmail accounts.

I have a problem though, some of the sites I visit use Google Authenticator, each site gives me a secret code, am I correct in thinking that I can only configure slot 2 for one Google Authenticator login, and that I would need a new key for each site?

Thank you

Yes, common configurations are:

slot 1: Yubico OTP
slot 2: Challente Response

or

slot 1: Yubico OTP
slot 2: Static Password

or

slot 1: Yubico OTP
slot 2: HOTP-TOTP (1 account, unless different account use the same secret)

Thank you Tom

This has cleared the confusion up.
I think the best option is to ask the sites that support 2 factor authentication to support Yubikey.

Yubikey types the password for me, a much better option for disabled people like me.

I found GAuth Authenticator (Google plugin), I cannot type the password in fast enough, GAuth Authenticator is okay for people who can type quick and remember the 6 figure code, not for people with disabilities.

I have not found anywhere that Yubikey is the ideal solution for security conscious websites wishing to provide authentication to people with disabilities. Roboform/Yubikey is quite ideal.

I spoke to Roboform (password manager) support, they are trying to integrate Yubikey support :)

I like that that the Personalization Tool allowed me to swap configs, so the Yubico-provided OTP can be left in Slot 2 of my new Neo.

But for most my Yubikeys (yes, plural), I'd like to use both slots. Why does this forum require that I keep a Yubico OTP just to use it. I paid for the whole devices, not just one slot. Is there a way to login without using my Yubico OTP?
