what is YubiTOTP1.exe?

Hello!

The latest YubiTOTP app for Windows works differently then the previous version. The Personalization tool is no longer needed to program the YubiKey - the YubiTOTP app does it automatically. You do, however, need an empty slot in your YubiKey. The Personalization tool can remove a configuration from either slot on your YubiKey.

I downloaded TOTP1.exe from here:

The hash matches.

I used the new setup after deleting slot 2. Everything worked up to the last step. Double clicking the icon or generating the TOTP comes back with Serial Number Read Failure.

Like the new functionality as well, not having to do the conversion etc. Much simpler now.

Hi,

I am having this issue with two new Yubikeys - one Neo and one Neo-n.

Both are configured in the same way: as Smart Cards within my Org (cert from internal PKI). OTP, CCID and U2F modes have been enabled, slot 1 is configured for Yubikey OTP, slot 2 is not used.

I planned to use slot 2 for TOTP. However, using the TOTP tool (under Windows 8.1), pressing the Check button - the application always reports that "No Yubikey present".

I have tried this on two different machines - same result. I'm using the TOTP exe from here: https://www.yubico.com/applications/int ... ces/gmail/

Hope you can help...

Similar issue here as with Jon above. My yubikey Neo is configured slightly differently but my slot 2 is empty as well and the TOTP tool doesn't work under Windows 7. any thoughts?

It is an issue with the tool. We are aware of it and we apologize for the inconvenient.

We invite NEO user's to use the OATH applet instead for now.
