Q: I presume that the one time pass phase can be used to complete the password field when an user authenticates to a UNX system (having downloaded the PAM module and included it in the PAM configuration files.). I guess the use case would be (a) user plugs Yubico into an USB port (b) user types their id into the login dialog (c) user progresses to the password dialog (d) user presses the key on their Yubico (e) user is authenticated by the operating system.
A: Yes, that describes completely the chain of events for one way of using the PAM module.
