I have a static password configured on one key, and want to copy it to a second key for safekeeping purposes...

I generated the static pass on the GRC site, here: https://www.grc.com/passwords.htm and parsed 64 digits as my password. I have that in the second "slot" on my 2.0 key, and want to duplicate the static password onto the second "slot" of another 2.0 key.

Complicating things, perhaps, is that the OTP slot (as delivered from the factory) on the second key is used as my login here. But I imagine that shouldn't be an issue. (EDIT: this isn't an issue as I added my first to the account here)

How would I go about this?

Unless I'm missing something important, I think the easiest way is just to copy and paste right from within the personalization tool.

Cats:

negative, if you use a high-entropy (in my case, 64 char) static password. I generated one at GRC, and used that output to gen my static password on yubikey 1 (I have 3- bought 2 as a package deal, and then bought the Verisign version when it came out).

Apparently they only support 16-char cut/paste tp utilize the method you propose.
