Hello All,

As many of you know, Google released Chrome 39 today (11/18/2014). As we've stated here at Yubico, we're anxious to provide everyone tools to enable both the U2F as well as the OTP and CCID modes on your firmware 3.3 NEOs and NEO-n YubiKeys.

We are testing the unlocked NEO Manager internally, but we also want to take advantage of our very technically savvy community here on our technical forums. As such, we're releasing our beta Windows version of the unlocked NEO Manager for you all to use and test with. You can download it from: http://yubi.co/NEOMGRBeta

Linux and Mac versions will also be released shortly.

Please note that this is the internal beta release we are testing - while we do not expect any issues, we are still hammering it. If you do find any issues, please let us know in this thread, or directly via GitHub (https://github.com/Yubico/yubikey-neo-manager/issues).

Thanks for supporting the YubiKey!

Hello David. Thanks for the fast update. But Avast seems to have something against this version... It's detecting "Win32:Evo-gen [Susp]" in this release. In the release before everything was okay.

Hey Patschi,

Thanks for letting me know - I will pass it to our developer. This is an internal build, so it may trigger anti-virus warnings. As always, never trust anyone - don't install it if you have any doubts. We aim to have release-quality builds out as soon as possible.

I scanned it with VirusTotal and all other antivirus programs passed the check. Just Avast (the Web Protection module) seems to have some problems with it...

Hi,

For what it's worth I tried in on Windows 8.1 running with Parallels Desktop for Mac.
The download and install went fine and did not trigger AVG antivirus.

But my 3.3.0 YubiKey does not show up in the 0.2.6 NEO Manager.

Not sure if it's because I'm running Windows inside Parallels on my Mac or what.

Anyway I'll be watching for the Mac version to come out soon.

Thanks!

I got neoman working fine on my Linux box, what's the issue with Mac? I just gitted the code and ran from source. Seems to work fine:-

Code:
Nov 19 13:55:45 kernel: input: Yubico Yubikey NEO OTP+U2F+CCID

Anyway, for Parallels, did you enable USB pass-through on your Neo?

I'm currently using Chrome v38 with the recommended extension by Yubico, so I thought it should also work on the stable one. Does this really only work v39?

Correct, Chrome 39 is the one that supports both modes being enabled simultaneously.

Chrome v39 stable was just released to the masses, specifically 39.0.2171.65 (64-bit).
I wasn't able to find any reference to FIDO or U2F in the Chromium changelog for this release as compared to an arbitrary v38 release:
https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/src/+log/a4033fa68ed3a84019ed1b2cbcd9289b14c153d0..b853bfefba0da840f4574eb3b5c7ad6e9b8573b5/?pretty=full&s=c130d99551dbef05e6a95641585cd31b882b6147

Latest Yubico-Neo-Manager release is 0.2.5, and it's still preventing OTP + U2F simultaneous modes. I hope the next release will include this functionality, whenever that will be.

Just confirmed that the recently released v1.0.0 (i see what you did there) does work with aforementioned version of chrome 39 and 3.3.0 firmware NEO device works simultaneously with OTP (long press) and U2F (web registered). Thanks (elder sign)... Great work Yubico & Dave!

Installed v1.0.0 right now. Works fine! Also Avast does not output any warnings.

But sadly YubiKey Logon Administration (https://www.yubico.com/applications/com ... ows-login/) isn't working when both modes are activated (the "Configure" button is greyed out). I would appreciate a fix for that as well :)

The yubikey-neo-manager-1.0.0-mac.pkg works great, thanks!

Now I can use just one yubikey for both LastPass and Google.

Thank you!
