Dear,

System info: Windows 7 64bit

I have installed the Yubico Personalization Tool and programmed the second slot for challenge-response.
I have installed and used the Yubikey Logon Administration to enable Yubikey logon for my account, and the configuration and tests were all OK.

Now when i shut down my pc and reboot to test the identification process, it just allows me to log in without the Yubikey.
There are a lot of possibilities in the user selection, but even if i configure Yubikey login for all of them, it makes no difference and i can just login without Yubikey.

I would like to introduce the Yubikey in my company because we deal with sensitive data at customer sites, but if the windows login does not work, it would defeat the point of buying more Yubikeys..

Many thanks in advance!

Kr,
Olivier

See screenshot

- configure your yubikey for challenge response

1) check that the logon status is ENABLE

2) select the user

3) tick the ENABLE checkbox

Both options are enabled, that's what's weird :)

Any other possibilities or could this be caused by other account settings?

Hello there.

My situation is the same: YubiKey Logon Administration test passes but it does not affect the logon procedure. Has anybody managed to resolve that problem? Is it possible to configure windows domain (not local) account this way?

Thanks in advance for any information.

No, this works only with local logon.

You may want to look at the Yubikey NEO with our PIV applet for Active Directory, Remote Desktop etc etc.
