All,

I just wanted to let you know that we have just released a new version of the YubiKey personalization library that works under GNU/Linux and Mac OS X. It is still experimental, and we invite comments on it. We plan to release it as 1.0 next week:

YK Pers 0.98 +yk lib 1.5 + YK v2

It works :)

As usual before using the tool the hid driver needs to be disconnected from YK (this can be done by the /sys tree or by passing parameters to modules).
I was able to reprogram YK to include second, static password - the defaults work fine. :D

:?: But not all things seem to work, I've tried to modify the defaults with the -o-append_cr but with no success.

I still can't figure out how to correctly pass less common arguments to yk-personalization tool. The windows based tool on the other hand works perfectly.

To use the key without problems on Linux (ubuntu) I needed to add delay to the static password settings.

How do I use the linux tool to set the Yubikey configuration 2 to generate a 64 char static key? I can only seem to get 32, but I keep seeing references to it being able to have 64.
