I am trying to configure the PAM module as per this post in kali linux (debian based):

everything is fine until the ykpersonalize command, where the output is:

Do you have a Yubikey standard or a NEO?

if it is a NEO are you sure it is in mode -82 and not 81 ?

My yubikey is a NEO in mode 82, the issue was fixed by building the packages from source and re-installing rather than using the pre-built packages from the repository.

I'm considering writing a tutorial on my experience of building the packages from source and configuring PAM.
