Hello,

I have a Windows system in a workgroup.
I want to make a remote connection to this system using Yubikey.
The source computer is also Windows but it is in a domain.

I receive the following error on the source system:
"No valid certificates were found on this smart card"

But I used PIV tool to create a certifcate on this yubikey.

Hello Gokhan,

I would recommend you read through our PIV Deployment guides linked below, also if you are trying to use a Smart Card to authenticate to a Non-Domain Machine that would not work. for Smart Cards to work correctly each machine you authenticate to will need to be a member of a Windows Domain. you can however login to a Windows Domain joined machine from a non-domain client.

You can use the product https://www.mysmartlogon.com/products/e ... icate.html to use a Yubikey with PIV to login to another Windows computer/server which is not in a domain. It works perfect and is easy to setup.
