On the following web page:
https://www.yubico.com/support/downloads/The NEO manager lists v1.2.1, but when downloading the windows version, the download is yubikey-neo-manager-1.3.0-win.
Version 1.3.0
I assume that V1.3.0 is the latest ?
While I am here mentioning about the NEO version, I started the NEO Manager and see the push-bar listing
"change configuration mode (OTP+U2F)"
When I click it, I see a total of 3 options -
OTP (checked) CCID (
NOT checked) U2F (checked)
Question 1: Why would I NOT want CCID checked ? If I check all three, do not all three features get included in the Key ? From my limited understanding, the NEO Manager just activates the OTP and U2F and CCID as another option. I tried the U2F REGISTRATION AND LOGIN DEMO but it did not work, I am assuming this is because I have not run the NEO MANAGER before trying the DEMO - correct ?
Question 2: By running the NEO MANAGER, I assume that whatever options I pick, are put into slot 2 ? - since that is the only key slot that is not used. (i.e. the Key came with OTP in slot 1 I believe ). I would like to use the Key for CHROME, LASTPASS and BITLOCKER when I get win 10.
Question 3: by selecting all three options and running the NEO Manager, Am I preventing the Key from being used from OPEN PGP?
Sorry for the basic questions. The only security experience I have is with GOOGLE 2 factor authenticator on gmail and Lastpass and PGP keys.
Thanks.
