I love my Yubikeys :D They are not working with two of my three laptops, though.

The function of the personalization tool which allows users to monitor the touch sensor ("Touch Tracking") is showing much lower values generating from yubikeys on my laptops than on my PCs. I'm gathering that the Touch Sensor values are not reaching the threshold needed to initiate typing. Admittedly, I have no idea what the columns or values are describing from the "Touch Tracking" dialog of the personalization/configuration tool.

Is this a power issue? Does this warrant replacement? Can firmware increase sensitivity of the touch sensor? I would like a "feather trigger" on these bad boys. JK. Thanks, in advance.

We've actually heard a similar issue before. In this case, we got hold of the "offending" laptop and found out that there was an interference inssue where the laptop power supply induced a fair amount of low-frequency noise into the laptop ground supply.

Please send me an e-mail at jakob at yubico dot com and I'll make sure a new Yubikey gets sent to you. We've changed filter slightly to cope with this potential issue so if anyone else have seen this behavior, please send me an e-mail and we'll see if this fix does the trick for you as well.

With the best regards,
