I have successfully configured Windows Login. The manual (https://www.yubico.com/wp-content/uploa ... ration.pdf) says to leave the Require User Input (button press) option unchecked, which I did, and the login process works as long as the key is inserted. The Yubico Windows login page (https://www.yubico.com/applications/com ... ows-login/) says "For optimal user experience, we recommend to not have “button press” configured for challenge-response. If button press is configured, please note you will have to press the YubiKey twice when logging in." I would prefer to leave my key inserted but require the physical presence of someone to login to my account, so I want to enable button press.

Any ideas?

i'd recommend you not to do that.

It is hard to press at the right time.

You can experiment and see how it works for you, be sure to enable the "safe mode" option so that if you lock yourself out you can login again during your testing phase.
