Ok, hi all. the answer was probably staring me in the face but i am having problems getting the cross utilization tool working and this is secondary but it seems the easiest to answer of the 2 so decided to start here. i got this for security purposes so may as well start off in full knowledge. right i tried the online demo tool and my yubikey vip kicked out the 6 characters. thought good it works and had an effortless procedure in setting up paypal. however on deciding to setup the 2nd 'channel'(?) ,i couldnt get the cross utilization working (see other thread). i attempted enough in my opinion for me to warrant getting out the standard yubikey i purchased after and tried that. that didnt work so i thought, oh ill also try the demo site. well, it kicked up a heap more characters and said, congratulations, its been activated or the equivalent which my vip yubikey didn't? just checking but im presuming the yubikey vip is allready activated (but obviously not the 2nd channel which the cross tool is partly for.)

JFI this is nick is registered to my standard yubikey.

Hello,

The Yubikey VIP comes with symantec credentials active in the first configuration slot. All you need to do is log-in in the paypal website and bind your Yubikey VIP with your account.
