Hi folks,

This post is meant as a quick how-to for new customers and as a feature request for yubico R&D team.

I mainly bought the yubikey for it's static password function. Unfortunately the passwords generated with Yubikey Personalization Tool are not as secure as I expected - only the first characters seem to be capitalized or numeric, the whole remainder is always lowercase.

So, the only way to get a secure static password seems to be as follows:
1.) get an external password generator as can be found by googling "password generator"
2.) generate a secure password
3.) choose Static Password / Scan Code mode in Yubikey Personalization Tool and manually type the new password into the password field

Feature Request:
1.) Add a paste password from clipboard function to Yubikey Personalization Tool.
2.) Make Yubikey Personalization Tool generate more secure passwords like
