Wondering about the yubikey removing the Caps lock before sending the OTP?
Would that be a good idea or just makes thing worse?

As noted in the 1.3.0 release thread, the caps-lock trigger feature has not been removed. It is configurable and it is up to our users to decide if this function is to be enabled or not.

We might decide to drop it later on depending on user feedback. But until then, it will be there and the usage counter will be 15 bits.

Sorry Jakob,
I am not talking about the trigger CAPS LOCK,
But when you hit the yubikey and it generate a code.
if then, you are in CAPS LOCK, the code will arrive in Uppercase, for example this forum will not recognize this.

So i was wondering a way to fix this,
either the forum accept the UPPERCASE, or the yubikey turn off the CAPS LOCK before sending the OTP.
Thanks

I believe it would be simpler for our server to just lower the case of incoming OTP's before verification. The modhex encoding is case insensitive after all. This approach can also help us support Dvorak-style keyboards too.

Thanks,
Simon

Just to assure everyone that this has been done -> the server converts your OTP to lower-case so the forum will work no matter CAPS is on or not.

Cheers
