Hello.

I buy used Yubikey NEO, but I can not understand, NEO or not?

It looks like a NEO. But NEO Manager does not recognize it, no set mode from the console utilities...

version: 2.2.1
touch_level: 1795

Code:
$ ./ykpersonalize -m6
Firmware version 2.2.1 Touch level 1795 Program sequence 3

Code:
$ ./ykinfo -c
Yubikey core error: timeout

What is the key, and how to understand what function it supports?

That is a Yubikey NEO but there have been several models of it over time.

can you run
ykneomgr-M 86

Get yk neo manager from developers.yubico.com and the libccid patch from our repository on github

https://developers.yubico.com/yubikey-neo-manager/

This will set the Yubikey NEO in composite mode. OTP + U2f + CCID.

Could be that your NEO is very old, thus only mode 82 is supported.

in which case:

ykneomgr -M 82

use the GUI tool to visually see in which status the Yubikey is

Thank you!

I tried to install a different version of NEO Manager on this page: https://developers.yubico.com/yubikey-n ... /Releases/

Versions 0.2.3 to the latest - they do not support my key.
Versions from 0.2.2 to 0.1 will not run on OSX 10.9

I tried to install version 0.2.0 and 0.1 on Windows - no device found.

What am I doing wrong?

Maybe need libccid patch install?

Are you on Linux or Mac?

If on Mac install this and reboot, https://github.com/Yubico/ifd-yubico

Could you please attach a screenshot of the NEO manager and the output of the command cat info.plist | grep yubi file

what version of OSX are you on? did you tried to recognize the NEO on a windows operating system with the NEO manager?
