Been using Yubikey Standards for a couple of years and have successfully deployed multiple devices with a 64 character static password (Upper and Lower case, Alphanumeric and add !) in slot 2. Been starting to experiment with FIDO U2F and thought I'd try a couple of Yubikey 4s. Went to configure the static pass using the same Pub Id, Priv ID and Secret Key that I always use and the result is close but off by 2 characters. I've tried multiple times with the same result.

Output of slot 2:

Standard (pass I want)
Code:
!****nj8n********************************************************

Yubikey 4 (pass I get)
Code:
!****n9in********************************************************

So how can I get the Yubikey 4 to build my former static pass and has something changed between the models that would cause this? My neo programs fine with the desired password.

Hello,

Could you add the keys firmware version, yk4 and standard.

Are you using the latest version of the Yubikey personalization GUI, 3.1.23 or above?

Thank you

I ended up generating a new static pass on the yk4 and it also worked on the Standard so my issue is worked around at this point.

Yubikey Personalization Tool (latest Fedora 23 package):
Application Version 3.1.24
Library Version: 1.17.2

Yubikey Standard Firmware Version: 2.4.2
Yubikey 4 Firmware Version: 4.2.7
