Trying to set up MacBook Pro to force login with YubiKey NEO, running Mac OS X 10.12.5

Downloaded and installed YubiKey PIV Manager, but keep getting the error message, "No YubiKey found. Please insert a PIV enabled YubiKey..."

I routinely use my YubiKey to log in to LastPass and through chrome plugin, so the device is working on this hardware setup. Any suggestions?

update:
According to this post, https://github.com/docker/notary/issues/1006, I may need to switch the mode of my YubiKey to a mode that supports CCID (my current Product ID is 0x0114)

resolution: installed yubikey neo manager. Added CCID. now every of the things works.
