Hi all,

I am thinking about picking up a NEO (when stock opens back up) but after searching can't find anything about the use of the CCID feature on a mac. Has anyone tried using the CCID features on the NEO with a Mac?

I tried to get my Yubikey NEO to work with the instructions from

but unfortunately all I get from piv-tool is

even tho I copied the Info.plist to /usr/libexec/SmartCardServices/drivers/ifdccid.bundle/Contents/Info.plist and installed the opensc mac package.

opensc-tool --list-readers

0 Yes YubiKey NEO OTP+CCID 00 00

Any hints?

Do you have the piv applet?

that's probably missing. I didn't realize I should should get that beforehand. Neo is fw 3.0.4. Do newer ones come with that applet?

No, we do not sell any NEO with the PIV applet.

so what did that guy (https://github.com/berkmanmd/yubikey-neo-osx) do? Did he upload a piv applet into the neo?

He also mentions management key values configured by yubico. That might have tricked me into believing this is somethin official

Having the exact same problem when trying to get this to work. Any more info/luck ?
