hello yubico.
after visiting a friend, who ordered some of the keys, and listened
to the difficulties on getting the key to work properly on first usage,
i must say that it worked flawless on my windows 7 laptop.
The remark i would like to make is that i expected a site that would
show me how to use it without the loads of info.

Maybe a video on how to use it after the registration was successful.
Or a page that has a minimal set of info that one need to get started
[as a new user]

The product already comes without manual and it looks like you don't
need to study much to get to know and use it but the truth is, that
finding the right software to configure it is already a task.
Not to mention all the different settings the software is offering.

Great product and hoping for a better first user interface on the website
would be apreciated.

Hello,

You analysis is correct and we are working on this. However it is not a trivial task to communicate correctly information for the product.

We are working on that.

Tom.

No trivial task maybe - but no non-essential one, either.

Thank you Tom, It could be as kis as possible [keep it simple]
-just a video,
-a link to the configuration software for either windows or mac,
-and in case the first install/use is giving trouble a short help page with screenshots
and quick&clean 'how to'.

I know it is a hard thing to filter out all the info that a new starter is not [yet] interested
in. Also the many abbreviations could get a description. Not all of us start as a pro user
with this great device. A simple popup by "mouse over" can do that.
