I hope this is the appropriate place for this. If not, I apologize.

I would like to see an option on Windows login configuration to not show the "Yubikey is required for this account login" reminder, and the failure look as much like a regular password failure as possible if that is possible.

The person who owns the account should already know a Yubikey is required. Someone attempting to gain access by guessing the password doesn't need to know the attempt will prove fruitless. In fact, I would be amused knowing their attempt will be long and hopefully fruitless.
