So we've run into a bit of an oddity on a couple of the holiday keys, wherein the 2nd slot is programmed for OTP as well (ykpersonalize -2 -akey -ofixed=pub -ouid=priv -oappend-cr -oallow-update -o-static-ticket -o-strong-pw1 -o-strong-pw2). Occasionally for the duration of a session, the token would seem to send a counter value of 32767; although the number of insertions is not even close to the limit. The rest of the items (public ID, private ID, etc.) are fine, the message decodes properly and the CRC passes. If one unplugs and then plugs back in, the counter would seem too restore to the expected value (indexed by two from the last "sane" value).
Not sure if this is one of those "well then don't do that" sort of predicaments, but I thought the firmware team might wouldn't want to know. Not that there's much to be done about it now, but in the future perhaps.
