I have been evaluating Yubikey Neo to secure SSH (via gpg-agent) and online (via TOTP/authenticator) access of some services at my employer.

In the process, I encountered a few OS X Yosemite specific bugs and started investigating whether those issues would be addressed in the next release of the operating system.

Before upgrading my test system to the beta, I did a little bit of research and stumbled upon this blog post by one of the pcsd-lite developers: http://ludovicrousseau.blogspot.fr/2015 ... -1011.html

My understanding is that OS-X El Capitan will ship without PCSD support and thus will not be compatible with either the Yubikey Authenticator app (it uses the pyscard under the hood which depends on PCSD) or the version of gpg2 currently available via Homebrew.

The new smartcard framework, CryptoTokenKit is not - as far as I know - supported by anyone.

Has anyone upgraded to the OSX 10.11 beta and had any success using their Yubikey? Does Yubico have any plans to release new versions of their tools with CryptoTokenKit support?

Thanks in advance for all the help!
