Hello everyone, sorry if this has been suggested and proven to be a bad idea before, but I feel I wanted to get this out of my head before I forget it.
So after reading this
article I began to wander just how one would implement a near-universal logon button to the keyboard. A microsecond later my gaze wondered to my trusty Yubikey and then it hit me. Make the Yubikey OTP-password button the industry standard login button on PC keyboards!
I get that this is a bit of tall order, but there you go. The rumor has it that Google is already prototyping Yubi for Gmail, so they would be an obvious candidate for setting standards. Seeing as they are, you know, Google and they have this thing called Chromebook.
Thoughts? Thank you
