When I import users from AD and their names contain icelandic characters like þ,á,ó and so on results in their entry in the YubiRADIUS Webmin module to be full of weird characters. For example. - Hrönn becomes Hrönn - Arnór becomes Arnór Adding icelandic with "dpkg-reconfigure locales" changes nothing. Authentication for those users still works because the "login name" is the one that is used and not the "username". |

What version of YubiRADIUS? This is not by design. We will look into this and fix in the future release of YubiRADIUS. |

This is using YubiRadius 3.60 |

This is resolved. Its a UTF-8 issue, the YubiRadius Webmin part is UTF-8 but by default the Webmin interface itself comes as Global language (English (US)), this means that the browsers set the encoding as what webmin uses but not what yubiradius uses. Easy fix Webmin \ Change Language and Theme Change Webmin UI language to Personal and select English UTF-8 |
