Post subject:  [QUESTION] - Web and Putty authentication using keys

Hello,

There's a lot of info in the internet, but it mostly is either too common or too specific, or maybe I'm not aware enough about the topic, but I can't figure out it by myself.
Some sites like startssl.com, webmoney.ru and some others use private keys stored to windows certificate store to authenticate a user instead of login/password. This means that I have to keep my keys in the system store of the OS. As far as I understand from numerous documents there's possibility to store keys in yubikey (neo or neo-n). What exactly should I do so that I can use my yubikeys to do authentication on such sites with keys stored in youbikeys on chrome on windows7?
Another question is how can I use yubikey along with Putty (a windows ssh client) for authentication using a private key.

Hello,

Yubikey NEO works great with Putty. Enable putty support for gpg-agent, generate key-pairs and start using SSH in 10 minutes.

There are plenty of information on how to achieve this, I can only confirm you that is works fine.

Before running SSH session, always open a powershell and run gpg --card-edit to make sure the card is detected properly. If you have problems restart scdaemon

Thanks for the reply. Could you please also give some links to the information you've mentioned about.
