Hi there,

I bought myself a UBIKEY firmware 2.4.1 but when I use the personalization tool to configure slot 2 for Windows Logon, and press Write Configuration, I receive an error telling me that the firmware version is not supported? It's a brand new yubikey ?

Any suggestions or help would be appreciated!

So i did check, and it works fine.

Did you installed the latest version of the cross-platform personalization tool?

Did you installed all the components correctly of the Windows Logon utility? You will need the 3.5 framework for windows the COM API wont install on the 4.5

Did you tried on different USB port? Are you using a 3.0 USB port?

Did you configured the KEY before pressing the TEST button ?

Did you configured the challenge response correctly?

Acctually I first started configurating the YUBIKEY and since that wouldn't work, I stopped there. Not started with the logon tool yet. I did the configuration with a USB 3.0 port, may that be the issue? Will try it in another port now.

Nopes, won't work in another USB port unfortunately. It gives an error saying that the firmware version is incorrect.

Hello Again,

did you installed the latest version of the cross-platform personalization tool?

Can you post a screenshot showing the FULL personalization tool configuration and the error?

Did you tried on a different computer/Device with the same Yubikey ?

1. Yes I did, downloaded it from the site.
2. See attachment.
3. No, not yet since I have only one laptop here.

Please try this again:

Download the latest version of the tool from here:

http://www.yubico.com/products/services ... tools/use/

With this URL:
http://www.yubico.com/wp-content/upload ... 3.1.10.exe

It appears that you do not have the latest version of the cross-platform personalization tool.
