I believe that is a known limitation of the Neo firmware. The work round is to unprotect both slots, change the mode using the Neo Manager, then reinstate the slot protection.


But I can't protect the slots because the yubikey personalization tool won't recognize the yubikey when all three modes are enabled. :/

Yes, I have.

39.0.2171.65

And the latest version of NEO manager (v1.0)
Only two profiles can work together.

If I can help reproduce the issue let me know how the detailed logs can be provided by me?

Sorry I am a bit confused here:

1) Remove all access code by selecting DISABLE access code

2) Run the Yubikey NEO manager change mode to U2F CCID OTP or whatever you like

3) Set the access code back.

This has to work, did you tried it ?

Perfect! Thanks! It worked like a charm. I started playing with it too early and this fixed it.

I think the problem was that the yubikey personalization tool from the mac app store is not up to date.

What do you mean "remvoe all access code"?
Where I can do this?

Is you Yubikey protected with an access code? The one you set up with the Yubico Personalization CommandLine/GUI

This key is used for R&D and there is only default protection settings. If I do remember right, it's zero bytes.

What happened to the windows EXE? the link in the software resources has no target for version 1.0.
I can download the .tar and the .pkg fine but the .exe is gone.
