as of rohos key logon 3.0 (and 2.9) it does not recognize the yubikey neo as a yubikey. I can use the OTP just fine once I get the dialog to open with my Gfs yubikey2.

it seems the issue is cause it changed from PID-0010 to PID-0111, IS there a way to change the neos USB input device to pid-0010?

they also offer HOTP support, but this wastes a config slot... I prefer the normal method it supports with the yubikey2.

PS: I hex edited some of the dlls and i got the rohos welcome screen config to recognize the yubikey but the ntserv.exe still wont display the login screen with the neo >_<

Mmm... i think you are stuck, can't change that.

Why don't you contact them and tell them to add the 0111 ? This should be a very quick fix which would give them support for one more product.

Let me know if it will work and if they will implement it, if you remember!

Thanks!

first of all... the 3.1 beta they sent supports the neo just fine. but they removed the PIN support and the login with yubikey only seems broken :/ I can login with windows u/p

I was able to make the 2.9 version work by hex editing this files with every instance of 0010 to 0111 (i was missing the system32 dir)

c:/windows/system32/rohos_ybk.dll
c:/windows/SysWOW64/rohos_swk.dll
c:/windows/SysWOW64/rohos_ybk.dll

I asked if they have planned NFC support for yubikey (and phones to work as virtual keys). here is what they said

Dear customer,
Thank you for idea about NFC technology. We'll implement it in nearest future.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Kind Regards,
