Hi, Have been fooling around with the PIV tool – with little success. Now trying to enroll with our MS AD pki using either the web Certsrv interface or the MMC certificates snapin. However either way when asked to select the smartcard I’m unable to select the NEO because windows sees the card as read only. Any thought / pointers on this ? |

Hello, Yes, the minidriver used in windows is read-only, so it wont be able to enroll your PIV applet. You'll have to use our yubico-piv-tool, piv-tool from OpenSC or a commercial alternative to do card administration. /klas |

Thnak you for the quick reply, will spend more time with the piv tool - any current plans to provide a miniport driver able to write to the card ? |

Currently there's no plan to provide a minidriver. Have you tried the yubico-piv-tool (http://opensource.yubico.com/yubico-piv-tool/)? It should be fairly simple to get going with it to do some simple setup. /klas |
