Hello All,

As many of you know, Google released Chrome 39 today (11/18/2014). As we've stated here at Yubico, we're anxious to provide everyone tools to enable both the U2F as well as the OTP and CCID modes on your firmware 3.3 NEOs and NEO-n YubiKeys.

We're happy to release the official 1.0.0 version of the YubiKey NEO Manager for Windows, OSX and Linux. You can download the new tools at:
https://developers.yubico.com/yubikey-n ... /Releases/

This new release allows for all 3 modes of the YubiKey NEO and NEO-n to be enabled at the same time, allowing you to access all the features of your YubiKey!

Thanks for supporting the YubiKey!

Hello All,

We've found that some releases of Linux use versions of libccid which do not yet have Yubico PIDs included. In these cases, NEO Manager will not run correctly until the user edits the /etc/libccid_Info.plist file manually.

We've included scripts to automate this process in our Github repository (https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Yubico/yubikey-neo-manager/master/resources/linux-fix-ccid-udev), as well as a set of sample instructions on how to do so on Ubuntu:

1) Launch the Terminal (Ctrl+Alt+T)

2) Type in the following command and hit Enter:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:yubico/stable

3) Enter your administrator password, then hit Enter. You'll see a command that says:
"Press [Enter] to continue or ctrl+c to cancel adding it"

4) Hit Enter. The PPA will be added.

5) Type in the following command and hit Enter:
sudo apt-get update
The list of packages will pull into the repository

6) Type in the following command and hit Enter:
sudo apt-get install yubikey-neo-manager
The installer will ask "Do you want to continue? [Y/n]"

7) Type "y" (without quotes) and hit Enter.
The YubiKey NEO Manager should be installed once the commands finish running.

8) In order for U2F to work properly, and also for the NEO Manager to recognize CCID apps while U2F is enabled, please type in the following command and hit Enter:
Code:
sudo sh -c 'wget -q -O - https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Yubico/yubikey-neo-manager/master/resources/linux-fix-ccid-udev | python'

Step #5 has a typo ("sudop").

Step #8's URL has been trimmed with an ellipsis in the middle.

Step #8's link works fine, that's just phpBB. Right click it and copy link location, or use this:-
Code:
sudo sh -c 'wget -q -O - https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Yubico/yubikey-neo-manager/master/resources/linux-fix-ccid-udev | python'

Thanks for catching those typos - the first post has been updated to fix them.

Step 8 lacks a link to the corresponding upstream commit and the distro bug(s) in which distros are requsted to pull in said fix.

Good day,
I was not able use NEO with all modes activated. Only CCID and U2F can work together.
When I enable OTP when U2F does not work, (checked with Google authentication 2th-factor).

Please suggest me how I can collect diagnostics logs or offer something.

P.S. NEO Manager has been updated to v1.0.0

When will the YubiKey personalization tool be updated to work with OTP+CCID+U2F mode? I notice that it doesn't recognize my yubikey neo when I configure the device in this way.

Additionally, it seems I can't change the mode on a yubikey with protected profiles... which means I can't seem to have the OTP+CCID+U2F setting at the same time that I have protected profiles.

I believe that is a known limitation of the Neo firmware. The work round is to unprotect both slots, change the mode using the Neo Manager, then reinstate the slot protection.
