Hi!
Is there any possibility to remove the tab and enter from the static password. Usually it is good, but especially for registration or additional OTP it really sucks.

Regards!
René

Yes, I've tried that.
BUT: You need to put the static password on the YubiKey again, otherwise it does not change the setting (which no one tells you by the way).

AND: That is not that easy, because it changes some characters on input.
To be clear: I enter the Password with my yubikey into the pers.tool and press "Write configuration" and have a different Password in my Yubikey than I had before!

For instance I had an á in my original Password, which got changed to Z. When I enter that one again it Changes to Y. So I need to change the Z in my Password to á again (and to remember that!).

Same for ( gets transformed into ) gets transformed into = . Guess there are plenty more examples.
That is not good useability! Maybe you should simply restrict the input to what is actually possible without any problems.

You need to use the scancode mode if you want to input your own password.

For the setting you need to press the "update settings" button at the bottom.

I would recommend you to contact support@yubico.com for these kind of issue and to read the Yubikey manual/personalization tool manual provided at http://www.yubico.com/documentation

You're right. I didn't see that option. I've tried it now and it works as well.
Anyways, I used the "scanmode" and the error described occured.
