Finally dived in and bought a Yubikey Neo and I've run into a problem which I can't solve, despite 3hrs furious head scratching.

The Neo is in HID/CCID mode and has all the necessary applets installed.

When I try to add a new entry using a Galaxy S3, it adds the first one (DigitalOcean in this case) perfectly. I can see the entry using the desktop & android authenticator. When I go to add a second entry on the phone, it says it's added it, but it hasn't. It makes all the right noises, gives all the right messages but nothing is stored to the device.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Hi Tom

No, it's not actually added to the key. Even if I add it manually using the desktop app, it says it's added but there's only ever 1 entry.

It's 99% sure it's not a bug with the apps... could it be the key?

Download the NEO Manager from opensource.yubico.com
Delete the YubiOATH applet and re-install it.

BE CAREFUL THIS WILL DELETE ALL DATA CURRENTLY STORED IN YOUR Yubico Authenticator Applet!

So if you have something in there back it up first.

This is first time we hear this and we have a large deployment of the Android app therefore seems to be something specific to your hardware/setup.

That's sorted it :)

Just added 3 in quick succession, all working perfectly.

Thanks Tom.

I have the same problem. Brand new Neo set in OTP+U2F+CCID mode. YubiOATH 0.2.1 installed according to Yubikey NEO Manager. I can add one credential to Yubikey Authenticator on Android without issues (LG G3). When I add a second, it says it's successfully added but it's not. Only the first entry is stored.

Unfortunately I don't understand the advice given above (Install NEO Manager, delete app, re-install). I have YubiKey Neo Manager installed. Is NEO manager something else? I don't see a way to delete YubiOATH and reinstall it. I'm on OS X BTW. Some directions would be greatly appreciated -- I've been through all the docs I can find, and while tech savvy, I'm not a programmer!

Thanks!

I assume you have version 1.9 of the Android app
Please, try holding your NEO firmly to the device during the communication some smartphone have low power readers.

Could you contact support yubi.co/support if issue persists and submit the issue on our github issue tracker github.com/yubico
thanks.

Thanks, Tom. I have confirmed it is a key issue. I installed Authenticator on my old Droid Maxx (newest version on LG G3 and Droid Maxx). NFC also works fine on the Droid.

I experienced the same issue -- only the first QR scan is stored. The first one always works just fine. The second scans and registers correctly, accepts the NFC confirmation, says "added", but never appears on the list. I have reported this via support. It sounds like the solution above may work, but requires some command line magic I can't quite seem to piece together...

I'm experiencing the same single-credential limit on a brand new Yubikey neo. My attempts to reinstall the YubiOATH applet failed with a "card cryptogram failed" error message. Are there any other fixes or workarounds for this problem?
