New features in YubiRADIUS 3.6.1

1. Ability to provide the signing certificate in YubiRADIUS in case a self-signed certificate is used on AD/OpenLDAP server and secure connection option is enabled.

2. Added option to select Authentication Profile for integration with Netmotion Mobility Server using EAP-GTC protocol.

3. Enable/Disable "Single factor" authentication for users.


Bug Fixes in YubiRADIUS 3.6.1 (over 3.6):

1. Scheduled import of users had an issue in case a "," was used in user DN.

2. Default values set for active Directory parameters in "Import Users"

3. Default validation server is set to "YubiCloud".

4. Removed unintentional logging of user passwords as part of requests within YubiRADIUS components.

5. Disable RADIUS client in case a domain is disabled

6. Group return issue resolved for ", " in all group returns.

7. Reports was accessible from yesterday to old date, but reports was not able to generate from current date and time. This issue resolved and reports can be created from current date and time.

8. AD/LDAP user mapping with YubiKey, where username case sensitivity issue resolved.

9. Special characters in Password (# & + \ ") and username resolved.

What is the migration path from 3.6.0?

This version of YubiRADIUS (3.6.1) DOES NOT WORK

You cannot sign in using the Yubi OR root account.

NOTICE Save yourself some time and wait for them to upload the fixed version

Tom, that is not acceptable.

Fix it yourself and re-upload the YubiRADIUS client. You clearly know how to fix it - why is it too much to ask that you fix it THEN upload it?

After reading the changelog, I was excited to see the Netmotion compatibility and downloaded the VA. However, I will have to agree with labdulghani; there was little to no QC done before releasing 3.6.x.

I also cannot log in to the root user to apply the patch that has been posted, and I've tried all sorts of variations on the password 'yubico' as well as others to no avail.

Please apply this patch in dev and post the entire (fixed, working) VA image for those of us who are interested in using it.

So far I'm very disappointed with 3.6.x release. First we have the problem with special characters in user's passwords in the 3.6.0 version. Now I'm trying to update to the 3.6.1 version to fix that and now:
1) no information on how to migrate from 3.6.0 to 3.6.1 is posted and questions about it have so far been ignored.
2) there is a build error that prevents you from logging in to the vm, and the posted fix is a patch that... wait for it... requires you login to apply it. This REALLY needs to be fixed by re-building the VM and re-releasing it. Call it 3.6.1.1 or something.

Hope this gets fixed soon.

I agree with the rest, please post upgrade instructions from 3.6.0 and please build a new version with the included patch. I am really looking forward to test YRVA but i cannot take it into production before i can upgrade to 3.6.1 because I need the bug fix for the special characters in users passwords.

Looks like the original build has finally been replaced with a new build (YubiRADIUS Virtual Appliance 3.6.1_Build-2) on the main page; though I haven't seen any notice about it.

Also at long last a migration script for 3.6.0 to 3.6.1 has been posted!!!!!

I've downloaded, installed and tested it. And it seems to work for me. I can log in (with no need to fix a broken build) and users with special character in there passwords can authenticate.
