Hello all. I'm a bit new to all of this so I am hoping that someone can help me.

I am struggling with getting multiple two-factor authentication generators set up on my YubiKey Neo.

I have managed to get Dropbox set up properly - the codes generate in both the phone app and the desktop authenticator.

However, when I go to add my Microsoft account, I add the code (either by QR or by manually adding) and am told by the authenticator that the credential is successfully added. However, the credential is nowhere to be found. I've looked in both the phone app and the desktop app and only one credential will show.

If I delete the first credential (Dropbox in this case) I can add and display the second credential (Microsoft), but attempts to add back the first greet me with the same problem.

Any advice on how to get more than one 2 factor generator working?

Hello,

Which NEO version you have?

Can you try to add the same credential 3-5 times in a row, what happens?

What version of the OATH applet do you have?

Thanks for the response. I have the YubiKey Neo (full sized) running firmware 3.4.3

If I try to add the new credential multiple times, I get the same response each time: it says "Credential Added" but it never shows up in the authenticator.

How do I check my OATH applet version?

Download and install the Yubikey NEO manager from https://developers.yubico.com

So I've tried adding a few other TOTP codes (Microsoft, Evernote, etc) and I get the same result on both the Android app and the Desktop Authenticator.

It only seems to be able to handle one TOTP account at time.

Neo Manager shows the OATH applet is up to date. I have slots 1 and 2 configured with OTP and Static Password, respectively.

Any thoughts?

Please reset the applet.

You will lose all credentials on the device so be sure you have a backup/safety solution to log back in first.

$ opensc-tool -s 00a4040008a000000527210101 -s 0004dead

Or with ykneomgr command line:

$ ykneomgr -S 00a4040008a000000527210101 -S 0004dead

After this, close the connection, remove the card and reinsert it again. The applet should be reset.
