A couple of hours ago, apparently a new version of libykpers1-1 was released.
I cannot seem to spot any changelog among the resources I know of, neither through github nor developers.yubico.com.
Is there a changelog available somewhere?

Hello.

The changelog is at https://github.com/Yubico/yubikey-perso ... aster/NEWS or in the file NEWS inside the source archive.

Where did you expect to find it?

to summarize:
* Version 1.16.0 (released 2014-09-26)
** Add yk_get_key_vid_pid() to get the vendor and product id of a key.
** Add flags for ykinfo to print vendor and product id.
** Fix a bug in the osx backend where it would return an error opening
a composite device with two hid interfaces.

/klas

Ah, I was looking for the word "changelog", and just found it at the same time you posted your answer here; a copy of the NEWS file is called CHANGELOG and is stored in the downloaded .gz archive.

Sorry for the unneccessary question.
Thanks for answering swiftly.

I reckon these kind of releases does not fit into the Announcements forum here, but a quick notice and summary just like the one you posted here now is very useful, and not all people are developers following github.

Suggestion:
How about establishin a dedicated forum here for such news bits?
(This forum is actually the first place I go looking for such "news".)
