Hi,

So far I managed to use the Yubikey TOTP setup successfully with Google and Dropbox.
Now I wanted to use it with Amazon AWS IAM. Unfortunately without success.

See http://aws.typepad.com/aws/2011/11/new- ... pport.html for more details in Amazon AWS IAM TOTP support.

It appears that Amazon uses HMAC-256 instead of HMAC-160 like Google or Dropbox.
Any plans to extend the Yubikey TOTP tool to support HMAC-256 as well?

Thanks

Chris

Hello,

Not on the Yubikey Standard. It is doable on the NEO, by writing an applet for it.

Found this thread while searching for a way to use my Ubikey Edge for AWS MFA. This is about 2 years old now, has the situation changed any since then? Still no way to do this?
I tried using this guide with no success: https://www.yubico.com/wp-content/uploa ... -Setup.pdf ('Failed to associate the token').
