I am using the Yubico demo page at https://demo.yubico.com/start/u2f/neo?tab=login to test my Neo with FIDO.
The Neo works fine on Mac OSX 10.8.3 and Chrome 40 with FIDO extension 0.9.6. :D
However, The Neo never blinks when accessing the same URL from a Parallels 8 VM on the same Mac running Windows 7 and Chrome 40 with FIDO extension 0.9.6. The Neo OTP functionality works great but the FIDO functionality does not work on the VM. :?
This failure makes it very difficult to develop and test applications on the Windows VM that utilize FIDO.

Note added:
Another observation on the VM. If I disable the Chrome FIDO extension and refresh the demo webpage, I see the warning message "This demo requires the Google U2F Extension for Chrome". This is expected behavior.

Note added:
Another observation on the VM. The modal message "Performing U2F Action" appears on the demo page as expected. The Neo never receives the command to blink.

i suspect there must be some settings in the virtual machine that needs to be updated to detect the product.

like some PID VID...not sure how parallel works tho.

On VMware would looks something like this:
usb.generic.allowHID = "TRUE"
usb.generic.allowLastHID = "TRUE"

Your advice led me to the solution. On the Parallels Devices menu, select USB > Yubikey Neo OTP+U2F, and permanently assign it to the VM.

How do I mark this as [Solved]?
