Post subject:  [Q] Anyone have trouble booting with a Neo-n inserted?

I got my wife a Neo-n for her laptop. Cute little device. Unfortunately, it goes into this loop of flashing (almost like insert, eject, insert, eject) over and over when the laptop tries to wake up or POST from a cold start. The system will boot if I remove the device and cycle the power. I have not tried putting it in my machine yet, but I was curious if anyone else had weird issues like this and what steps I should start with to begin diagnosing the problem.

Thanks :)

It's an HP Pavilion DV-6 running Windows 7.

The Neo-n is running 3.4.3 firmware. I changed it to OTP+U2F mode, and it seems to be behaving now. I'd like it to work in OTP+U2F+CCID mode.

While I was down there I plugged in my Neo running firmware 3.3.0 (OTP+U2F+CCID. It did the same thing... flashing like nuts and preventing a resume in this case. I removed the key, cycled, and all back to normal. My computer up here (has run 7, 8.1, and 10 since I've had my keys) never had issues booting with one of my NEOs plugged in (I also have a 3.2 NEO set up for OTP+CCID).

Everything seems to play nice plugged in up here (home built PC with a Gigabyte Z97X motherboard). It just gets freaky with the laptop. I didn't see much in the laptop's BIOS settings other than enabling/disabling EFI boot mode (it's disabled/compatibility mode right now) and changing the boot order.
