I installed the
yubikey-personalization and
yubikey-personalization-gui packages, the key seems to be properly detected.
The key itself and its button works as intended, USB & NFC.
However I cannot get the personalization tool to detect the key at all. I've tried running as a regular user and as root.
Any ideas?

Edit/Solved: 13.04 Raring has older versions: libyubikey 1.8, yubikey-personalization 1.7 and yubikey-personalization-gui 3.0.6.
Yubico's ppa has version 1.9, 1.14.0, 3.1.11 for the same packages, which was what was needed.
