I purchased a Yubikey Nano 4 about a month ago, set it up to work with OTP (Slot 1) and static PW (Slot 2). About a week ago I read that I should have a backup Yubikey just in case. So I purchased a Yubikey 4 (keychain). Do I need to setup both at the same time (start over) or can I write my info, from my Nano, to the second Yubikey?

Thank you for taking the time to Reply. Unfortunately this didn't really answer my question. I had found this link three days ago via other searches. I realize that, as a security neophyte, I am far behind the curve in understanding the technology and terminology.
When I purchased my Nano it took me two days to figure out how to set it up. This occurred, not through the Yubico website but on another individuals website.
It seems that this must be a wonderful product which is clearly beyond my comprehension and will likely be relegated to my technology drawer of good ideas but bad purchases.

Without knowing exactly what you're doing with the YubiKey, it's impossible to provide any guidance here.

Static password is easy to back up, depending on whether you created a custom one (Personalization Tool > Static Password > Scan Code) or an advanced one (Personalization Tool > Static Password > Advanced). In either case, follow the same process as when you created the initial password (or delete the password and generate a new one, program the same password to both keys).

The link I included above also answers the question about Yubico OTP. You can't backup a Yubico OTP credential, so the service itself has to allow you to register multiple different YubiKeys.
