Hi, possibly moot question, but daring it anyway;

A few years back I bought some 2.0.2 Yubikeys to learn about the various functions.
Now I want to re-use slot 2 in one of them, and I want to see what "is there",
so I push-and-hold the button while in a text editor, and check the result:

- a 32-character random password, NOT with similar starting characters, all characters are different each time.

Examples:
rhenrreddceethkkejdrvebellglefdj
hulkgnvchjnvtlfvghinknncejtjkrgk
gjdfegjrjfktcfvcgciiudjtikdthulk

Which function could I have used to program that into slot 2?
(2.0.2 does NOT support challenge-response or OATH-HOTP)

I dont recall using slot 2 of that particular Yubikey for anything else but testing, years back.

Maybe you went into "Yubico OTP" > "Advanced" and then unchecked the "Public Identity" option.
