hi, I would like to know where we are about windows 10 and the logon authentification? For me it doesn't work... After having confgured my key to user press button etc in personalization tool, the test never passed in the logon configuration tool.... is this post viewtopic.php?f=5&t=2053 related? So is it compatible or not? Is it a way or in the future to have the logon process with the key compatible with microsoft account? even on their website why not? Or will we be stuck at the moment with local account? For auth in windows and proxmox server, is there a difference of quality of auth between the old basic key(before firmware 2.3) and the new keys like NEO? thanks best regards |

The logon tool does not require button press. Do not enable touch in challenge - response mode |

In case you, like me, didn't read this before setting it up with the 'user interaction required' here's how to get back into your machine (this was on Windows 10 Pro x64): 1. Boot the computer so it's at the login screen (it will be waiting for a password or perhaps have the lockscreen down) 2. Press your yubikey button AND KEEP IT HELD DOWN - The OTP or other slot 1 data will be sent with a newline attempting a login 3. Once Windows comes back and says "Invalid password" enter your password 4. Wait... 5. You should now be logged in and now you can let go of the yubikey button. If you don't want to go through this pain, go redo your slot 2 config and enjoy! |
