Hello,

I have a question concerning the possible implementation of a mobile app that exploit NFC to perform U2F.
In the FAQ section of Yubikey NEO it is explictly written that " U2F is not yet supported over NFC".
I am wondering if this means that there are yet no "popular" mobile applications able to perform U2F via NFC or if this means that there is a technical limit of the key and/or the NFC technology that prevents to implement such a kind of solution.

In a nutshell, I want something like this: the user insert their credentials, put the Yubikey near to the phone and as by magic the authentication is done.

u2F over NFC is coming very soon.

The specs have been approved by the FIDO alliance few weeks ago. Soon you will be able to do what you describe with mobile applications that support FIDO - U2F
