So I've been using my Yubikey with my Lastpass password manager for the past 6 or so months. It's been working great until yesterday. It now blinks 3-4 times and then shuts off not letting me scan for a one time password. What does this mean? I can use my other computer just fine and the yubikey works. I did some system maintenance yesterday and got rid of some temp files. Could that have been it? If so what do I need to reinstall to get it working again. Please advises as soon as possibl. |

Hi, General system maintenance or deleting temp files is unlikely to affect working of the YubiKey because for the operating system YubiKey acts as a USB keyboard. Based on the description it could be potentially related to the USB port on the computer since the YubiKey works on the other computer. Can you please try using it in another USB port on the same computer or connecting via a USB hub if available? If the problem persists, please write to support@yubico.com with the details about your hardware and operating system etc. |
