Hello,

Try the following:

1) Run the personalization tool in administrator mode
2) try just to change the access control code without modifying anything else, does that work? This can be achieved via the settings -> update settings, interface.

Contact support@yubico.com they will guide you through the replacement procedure if necessary.

I just received my YubiKey VIP. ID > 1909500 so OTP is already unlocked in slot 2.

Slots are already programmed and protected with the access code wich is the serial by default.
The problem is that the personalization tool is unable to update Slot 2.

Seems like the access code is not the serial ID
I'm willing to override OTP with HMAC-SHA1 keeping Symantec VIP...
