Makes sense really.
Statistics: Posted by eduqate — Wed Feb 25, 2009 3:18 pm

I thought whole drive encryption with pre-boot authentication is not yet supported in the Mac-Version of TrueCrypt?

BTT: As far as I know - you just need to plug in the Yubikey to enter the password to start the decryption - I think you do not have to keep it plugged in - because unless you touch the button, the Yubikey won't do anything
What happens after sleep/hibernate - well, just try it out, that is possibly a matter of settings.
Statistics: Posted by Kamikaze28 — Wed Feb 25, 2009 9:03 am

Didn't know where to post this so will try 'General'

If I have an truecrypted disk I obviously need my yubikey to boot. Having booted can I remove the yubikey or does it need to be inserted for the duration of the session? How about after sleep/hibernate?

This is for a Mac powerbook in case it matters

Ed
Statistics: Posted by eduqate — Tue Feb 24, 2009 5:43 pm
